The Advanced Express is the ultimate trip for adventurous paddlers looking for fast, technical, and relentless whitewater just outside Denver, Colorado. With very little warm-up, you’ll quickly drop into the continuous Class IV rapids of Clear Creek Canyon, where the action starts immediately and doesn’t let up.
Brace yourself as you charge through iconic rapids like Upper Beaver Falls, Lower Beaver Falls, and The Nixon, before catching a brief breath and paddling hard into the heart of the run. The intensity ramps up with Guide Ejector, Double Knife, Hell’s Corner, and the legendary Terminator, delivering steep drops, powerful hydraulics, and demanding lines that reward strong teamwork and precise paddling.
Before hitting the river, our professional, certified guides provide a thorough safety briefing and paddling instruction. Along the way, you’ll build confidence, practice teamwork, and enjoy plenty of thrills as you take on Advanced whitewater through Clear Creek Canyon.
This trip is only run at optimal water levels to ensure both challenge and safety. We reserve the right to refuse participation at our discretion. A good physical condition, aggressive attitude, prior paddling experience, and the ability to swim confidently are strongly recommended. We provide and require a personal flotation device, helmet, and wetsuit on all Advanced trips.
