Equipment - Our rafts are state-of-the-art self-bailers equipped with foot cups. Each guest is fitted with a type V Coast Guard approved life vest. Complimentary wetsuits, splash jackets, and helmets are provided for all trips. Neoprene booties and gloves are available for a small rental fee. We are pleased to offer hot showers at the Idaho Springs office for your post-trip convenience

 

What To Bring - Shorts (preferably nylon) or a swimsuit. Tennis shoes and wool socks, or sport sandals with an ankle strap (no flip-flops or crocs). Cool weather gear (avoid cotton; choose fleece, polypropylene, or wool). Sunglasses and sunscreen. Dry clothing and a towel for after the trip.

Responsibility - Our guides are trained in river rescue, first aid and CPR. You participate in rafting and related activities at your own risk, and we ask that you choose a trip within your personal limits. Engaging in rafting and related activities involves inherent and other risks and danger that can lead to injury, property damage or even loss of life. Inherent risks cannot necessarily be predicted or controlled. All participants (and a Parent or Guardian, if participant is a minor) are required to sign an Acknowledgement and Assumption of Risks and Release and Indemnity Agreement before participating, and understand that they assume responsibility and liability in the event of an injury or other loss. We recommend obtaining medical insurance through your personal insurance company. Click here to download a copy of our waiver.

Reservations & Discounts - Reservations are strongly recommended. Space may be available on short notice. However, to guarantee your spot a credit card or a 50% deposit is required. For Multi-day trips or groups of 10 or more, full payment must be received 10 days prior to departure. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

Groups of 10 or more receive a 10% discount, 20 or more a 15% discount, and 40 or more a 20% discount!

Please add a 5.25% ($3 minimum per person) AHRA use fee for all Arkansas River trips.

Cancellation Policy - We run trips rain or shine. If you arrive with less than the number of people booked, or fail to show up, you will be charged full price for each spot reserved. For multi-day trips and groups of 10 or more, payment is strictly non-refundable unless cancellation is made 10 days prior to trip departure. For individuals and groups of less than 10, payment is strictly non-refundable unless cancellation is made 3 days prior to trip departure. Clear Creek Rafting Co. reserves the right to alter or cancel any trip. If we cancel any trip, deposits will be refunded.

Clear Creek Rafting Co. is licensed by the State of Colorado. All or part of our operation is conducted on public lands under special permit from the U.S Bureau of Land Management and the Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area. We are members of the Colorado River Outfitters Association (CROA), Arkansas River Outfitter Association (AROA), Rafting Outfitters on Clear Creek (ROCC), America Outdoors (AO), The Better Business Bureau and area Chambers of Commerce.
